Who We're Looking For:

EmpiRx Health is in unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer. In this critical role, you will  be instrumental in optimizing our data architecture, ensuring data accuracy, and building scalable solutions to support the company's business needs. You will be responsible for generating high quality data extracts for clients, vendors, and partners. You will be instrumental in the developing, testing, and maintenance of internal applications. You will support business users to allow for business continuity.


What You'll Do:
As a Senior Data Engineer, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities; here are a few:
  • A result-driven individual, passionate and self-starter, be proactive requiring minimal supervision, be highly organized, have an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be a people person who is able to form strong, meaningful, and lasting connections with others, enabling smooth and continued collaborative relationships
  • Manage inventory of Incoming and Outgoing data feeds to enable the team and the business keep up with operational and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implements new and measurably efficient ways of doing work
  • Assess data ingestion/extraction pipelines/procedures on a regular basis to evaluate effectiveness and identify problems, and initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Develop and harmonize healthcare clinical and claims data models, and data feeds
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows, including data transformation, validation, and loading
  • Responsible for contributing to the continual improvement of the business’ data platforms through observations and well-researched knowledge.
  • Plays a collaborative role working closely with the business, Data and Analytics teams, gathering technical requirements across the departments and the business at large.
  • Experience working with BI reporting platforms like Domo and familiarity with Power BI

What You Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline (Masters’ Preferred)
  • 3+ years of Python experience
  • 5+ years of RDBMS experience 
  • 2+ years of Azure Databricks or ADF
  • Ownership of process
  • Strong time management and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
